The Institute of the Motor Industry Limited is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Estimator to join our team. This role involves assessing damage and providing accurate estimates for vehicle repairs. As a key member of our repair team, you will work closely with customers and colleagues to ensure timely and efficient repairs.

Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting computerised estimates using Audatex
• Communicating with customers to provide repair information and completion time estimates
• Compiling all relevant information and completing supporting documentation
• Recording estimate and repair information on the Advance system
• Monitoring progress of vehicles through the repair process
• Negotiating estimates with engineers when required
• Discussing claim-related issues with engineers
• Identifying opportunities for non-insurance related repairs
• Conducting mobile and drive-by estimates
• Maintaining and securing allocated equipment
• Assisting other team members as needed

The successful candidate will possess:
• Proven experience or knowledge of working in the automotive repair industry
• ATA Accreditation
• Excellent customer service skills, with experience delivering high-quality service to customers
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in managing workflow across multiple departments/specialisms
• A valid driving licence
