Nationwide Platforms is the UK's leading specialist provider of Powered Access rental equipment, and we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Service Technician to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on our fleet of powered access equipment, including booms and scissor lifts, to ensure they are in good working order and meet regulatory standards.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus benefits including life assurance, healthcare plan, and pension scheme, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and forward-thinking company.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out pre-delivery inspections of machines at client premises and at the depot
  • Repairing machines at the depot or on-site as required
  • Maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standard
  • Updating system records on machine status changes
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant mechanical qualifications, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent, and experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding.
