Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Responsum Global Ltd. This role will involve working on various electrical design projects, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To design and develop electrical systems for building engineering services, including site-wide authority supplies.
  • To provide evidence of previous major project design experience in electrical engineering.
  • To demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of detailed coordination with other design disciplines.
  • To possess genuine interest and knowledge of sustainable design and low-energy buildings.
  • To provide evidence of delivering projects from inception to completion, through your own efforts and that of your team.
  • To be familiar with site practices, and experience of inspections and surveys.
  • To have operational understanding of QA systems.
  • To possess a good understanding of the commercial factors which affect design solutions.

Requirements:

  • To be competent in specification writing, design/drawing for all building types.
  • To know key health and safety issues and legislation.
  • To know Microsoft Office applications – word, excel, etc.
  • To have good knowledge and a competent ability in the use of Amtech and their preferred Lighting Design Software.
  • To be conversant with up-to-date IT, technical methodology, and information sources.
  • To possess a thorough understanding of relevant and current British and industry Standards.
  • To possess the ability to prioritise project and team workload/s.
  • To possess the ability to work to tight deadlines.
