We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Sustainable Engineering Solutions to join our London office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable and low-energy design projects in the built environment.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to work closely with clients to help them predict, assess and improve their sustainability performance through a collaborative and well-organized approach. You will be leading the Sustainability Team to deliver sustainability assessment and design consultancy services within the built environment industry.

  • Conduct calculations, computer modelling, and prepare professional consultancy reports, proposals or presentations;
  • Project management, delivery and senior stakeholder management;
  • Business development for the Sustainability Team through new and existing client base;
  • Support work winning through bid support, innovation, client liaison, upskilling of colleagues and external profile-raising of Inhabit services

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in green building assessment, sustainability assessment consultancy services, and a strong understanding of building physics such as thermal bridging, air movement, wind, solar, etc.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree holder in engineering/ science related to green building, civil & environmental, sustainability, building services, mechanical & electrical or equivalent;
  • ASHRAE 90.1 experience is advantageous;
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
