Procurement Category Manager - Indirect (Technology)
Pod Talent is partnering with a leading global food brand to transform their procurement function into a best-in-class operation. This exciting opportunity is part of their growth strategy, driven by a significant investment in the indirect team.
The company's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has led to remarkable success, with a globally recognized brand and a strong presence in multiple regions. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled Procurement Category Manager to lead their Tech category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers and potentially lead one to three Category Buyers.
- Develop and implement a category and sourcing strategy that aligns with the company's short- and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with local teams to support supplier issues, including development and crisis management.
Requirements:
- Strategic thinking and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Experience in procurement, preferably in the technology or indirect category.
