Job Title: Procurement Category Manager - Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Category Manager to join our team at Pod Talent. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers within the Tech category and potentially leading a team of Category Buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a category strategy that delivers on short- and long-term goals of the business
  • Support the definition of the category and sourcing strategy that aligns with the company's priorities
  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure maximum value is extracted from procurement spend
  • Conduct category risk management and identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of Procurement or Supply Chain experience, with 2+ years in a Category Manager equivalent role
  • Proven experience in autonomously conducting cost and supply projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a complex stakeholder environment
