Class 1 HGV Driver Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services. As a Class 1 HGV driver, you will be responsible for trunking goods to client stores throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold a valid Class 1 / C+E License
  • No more than 3 points on your license
  • Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • At least 1 year road experience on Class 1 required
Working Conditions:
  • Working out of your RDC, you will be trunking goods to client stores throughout the UK
  • Various working patterns to suit drivers and start times each day
  • Some handball is required on deliveries
Benefits:
  • PAYE rates: £17.18 per hour (days), £18.22 per hour (nights), £19.26 per hour (Saturdays), £20.30 per hour (Sundays), £21.34 per hour (BH)
  • Weekly pay every Friday
  • 28 days accrued annual leave per annum
