Job Summary
Natures Way Foods is seeking a skilled Hygiene Operative to join our team in a production line specialist role. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our production lines run efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks on production machinery and surrounding areas to maintain high hygiene standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain hygiene equipment, including chemical washing systems and cleaning solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential hygiene issues or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize production schedules.
- Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge in areas such as chemical handling, manual handling, and safe systems of work.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively at pace and maintain high levels of productivity.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
