Restaurant Preparation Specialist

Join us at Compass Group UK as a skilled Cook and play a key role in delivering exceptional food experiences to our clients and customers. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food on a part-time basis contracted to 25 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have a passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service. They will also have experience in a similar Chef role and hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
Responsibilities- Preparing and serving delicious, high-quality food
- Cash Handling
- Providing excellent customer service
- Completing service-related food safety paperwork as well as cleaning
- Overseeing and implementing menu changes
- Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
- Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
- Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
- Representing Compass Group UK and maintaining a positive brand image
- Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
- Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
- Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
