Electrical Maintenance Technician Role

Mitie Telecoms is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to work across Bodmin and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and fire alarm systems across the Cornerstone Estate.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Installation of electrical and fire alarm systems
  • Maintenance of electrical and fire alarm systems
  • Identification of risks and reporting to clients
  • Improvement and implementation of PPM programs
  • Liaison with client on-site teams regarding building service-related issues
  • Completion of required documentation
  • Attendance at site meetings and training sessions
  • Adherence to health and safety guidelines
  • Collaboration with other Mitie disciplines for multi-discipline services

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • City & Guilds Part 1 & 2
  • City & Guilds
  • BS Electrical Regulations 18th Edition
  • City & Guilds -52 Electrical inspection and Testing (desirable)
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
