Electrical Maintenance Technician Job Description

Mitie Telecoms is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to work across Bodmin and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems and fire alarm systems across the Cornerstone Estate.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain electrical and fire alarm systems
  • Identify and report any risks to clients
  • Work on improving and implementing PPM programs
  • Liaise with client on-site teams regarding building service-related issues
  • Complete required documentation as specified
  • Attend site meetings and training when required
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and report accordingly
  • Cooperate with other Mitie disciplines for the provision of multi-discipline services

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • City & Guilds Part 1 & 2
  • City & Guilds
  • BS Electrical Regulations 18th Edition
  • City & Guilds -52 Electrical inspection and Testing (desirable)
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
