About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team at Allen & York (Built and Natural Environment) Ltd. As a key member of our Geo-Environmental & Mining Business Unit, you will collaborate with planning, environment, and engineering teams to deliver holistic solutions to a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive consultancy services, including ground investigation and contaminated land remediation.
  • Manage and supervise ground investigation on site, including groundwater and ground gas monitoring.
  • Produce Phase 1 geo-environmental desk top study reports and Phase 2 interpretative reports.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in geology, engineering geology, hydrogeology, or a relevant environmental science discipline.
  • Have comprehensive consultancy experience and knowledge of current contaminated land technical guidance.
  • Be confident in managing and supervising ground investigation on site.
  • Hold a full, clean driving licence.
  • Have any specific site works accreditations/qualifications held, such as SMSTS, SSSTS, or CSCS.
