Job Title: Supplier Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in managing relationships with our Technology and Asset Management suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment with our business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with our Supplier Relationship Management policy, standards, and processes.
  • Implement and manage our Supplier Management strategy and proposition across a portfolio of suppliers.
  • Benchmark new and existing services to ensure commercial terms are appropriate and fit for purpose.
  • Conduct regular reviews of contract service performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support with contract negotiations and renewals for in-scope suppliers.
  • Lead dispute resolution with suppliers to ensure all contractual disputes are fully resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supplier relationship management, preferably in the Technology or Asset Management sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
