Job Opportunity: Primary Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the learning of young children in our primary school. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to create an engaging and effective learning environment.

This is an ideal position for recent graduates or experienced teaching assistants looking to start their career in education or gain new challenges. You will assist the learning across the curriculum in core subjects such as Maths and Science to foundation subjects like PSHE and Music.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to promote and support the delivery of classroom learning in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

About the Role
  • Assist the learning across the curriculum in core and foundation subjects
  • Support the delivery of classroom learning in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
  • Work closely with experienced teachers to create an engaging and effective learning environment
Requirements
  • Previous working experience with children (favourable but not essential)
  • Rlevant experience in mentoring, coaching, tutoring, assisting in a nursery, childcare, or similar experience in a classroom setting
  • Experience supporting children with ASD, behavioural issues and learning difficulties (desirable)
