KS3 Educational Specialist

We are seeking an experienced educator to provide tailored 1:1 tuition for young people who cannot access mainstream school in Brentwood.
Job OverviewOur client, a local authority, collaborates with Teaching Personnel to deliver core academic subjects (English, Maths and Science) to bridge gaps in students' learning and understanding. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a real difference in a young person's life.
Educators work closely with students, developing a great working rapport and focusing on their engagement as well as academics. They have autonomy over their own schedule, accepting as much or as little work as they like.
About the RoleThis position involves working 1:1 with Secondary Students (KS3) in Brentwood:
- Deliver stimulating resources tailored to students' needs and interests.
- Write session reports about progress and content.
- Have some SEN/ SEMH experience.
We offer competitive hourly rates up to £30 p/h and flexible working patterns. Our educators also benefit from regular local work, online learning modules, and access to our online platform LEAP for easy reporting of student engagement, attendance, and progress.
