We are seeking a seasoned Data Protection Senior Analyst to safeguard our organization's business critical assets against internal security risks and ensure compliance with global legal, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for safeguarding our organization's business critical assets against internal security risks posed by employees, contractors, and partners. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate both insider and adversarial threats to protect sensitive information and maintain the integrity of Worldpay systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insider Threat Analysis: Build risk models to identify patterns of user noncompliance and develop strategies, policies, and procedures to detect, respond to, and mitigate insider threats effectively.
  • Threat Modelling: Work with technical teams to understand the organization's data risk profile and adversaries, then put in place detections and policies to prevent exfiltration.
  • Technology Implementation: Utilize strong knowledge and hands-on experience with data loss prevention (DLP), User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies to proactively identify insider threats and anomalous behaviors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, privacy, security engineering, and cyber incident response teams to ensure alignment of insider threat/data protection response processes with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to a team of insider threat analysts to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cyber security or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. CISSP, CIPP, CRISC, CCITP, GCFE, ITPM, or other professional certifications and four years as an insider threat/information security/data protection team member.
  • In-depth working knowledge of global legal, privacy, and regulatory requirements related to insider threat management/data protection.
  • Experience with information security tools such as SIEM, DLP, Endpoint, UEBA, and data exfiltration detection techniques.
  • Proficiency with security and access management concepts such as network protocols, secure design, access controls, encryption, data protection, privileged access, etc.
  • Leadership skills including team planning, mentoring, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, and setting priorities.
