Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing pharmacy services in primary care. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and triaging patients, including same-day triage, and providing definitive treatment or referrals as necessary.
  • Prescribing medications following policy, patient group directives, NICE guidelines, and local clinical guidelines.
  • Providing structured medication reviews to support patients in taking their medications effectively and reducing waste.
  • Developing relationships with other pharmacy professionals across the wider health system.
