About the Role

We are seeking a highly specialized clinical psychologist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a senior mental health therapist, you will be responsible for delivering psychological therapy within our Anxiety Disorders Treatment Team (ADTT) and providing expert professional leadership and advice.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate doctoral qualification in clinical psychology and experience of working as a qualified clinical/counselling psychologist/psychotherapist/family systemic therapist. They will also have significant experience of dealing with highly distressing or emotional circumstances, such as serious mental illness, child and sexual abuse, exploitation, and complex family dynamics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert psychological assessment, case formulation, risk assessment, and treatment for a designated number of patients presenting with complex mental health difficulties.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of frameworks and strategies that improve clinical practice, governance, education, learning, performance, management, and quality in the service.
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care is provided to patients.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible working options, 27 days' annual leave rising with service, and generous NHS pension scheme.
