Job Summary
The Sales Progressor is responsible for progressing reservations to exchange and legal completion within the company agreed timescales. This role involves supporting the customer journey, effecting timely exchanges through regular communications with solicitors, mortgage brokers and estate agents, dealing with issues promptly and efficiently, and keeping the business informed on all sales progress for accurate financial legal completions forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
This role requires the ability to update internal systems with all sales progress activity, keeping all plot records up to date with accurate information. You will also be responsible for liaising with internal stakeholders from site set up and managing the customer Database until site sales presence. Proactive communication on a daily/weekly basis to the Sales & Marketing Director any issues with conveyancing and plot progression is essential to ensure completions targets are achieved. Additionally, you will need to ensure new developments are set up with the legal teams in readiness for the first sales release. A weekly sales progression tracker for the sales team will be produced, and regular updates will be provided to the sales team and customers on their purchase and advising them of actions they need to take. Liaising with mortgage lenders, solicitors, estate agents and other Vistry departments to deal with any issues that arise is also a key part of this role. General customer communications, e.g. pre-contract meeting letters, 35-day intention to complete letters, welcome letters, will be generated, and part exchange resales will be progressed to exchange and legal completion. Performing general office administration tasks, as and when required, to meet the needs of the department is also a responsibility of this role. Ensuring all relevant Standard Operating Procedures, sales and all other policies & procedures are understood and adhered to, and that mandatory training requirements are kept up to date is essential.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience in Legal Conveyancing and/or Estate Agency, New Homes background, with a good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations. Proficient with MS Office programmes, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel, and proficient with Sales software eg. Connections Database/COINs/Keys is essential. Excellent telephone manner and email etiquette is also required. Willingness to be flexible in respect of day-to-day duties and hours worked is necessary. A full driving license is also required. The ideal candidate will have 5 GCSEs/GCEs including Maths and English, or equivalent. A salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered.
