Job Title: HSE Senior Advisor Position

Job Summary:
Belcan is seeking an experienced HSE Senior Advisor to lead the onsite HSE team, ensuring safety, compliance, and continuous improvement for all activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior HSE role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to the HSE team
• Support and guide project managers on all matters relating to HSE
• Ensure all work activities are carried out in compliance with company and site safety procedures
• Maintain and promote a Safety First culture, delivering TBTs and safety-related training as required
• Track and report HSE in line with regional requirements
• Highlight concerns and areas for improvement, developing initiatives to drive continuous improvement on the project
• Plan and conduct HSE audits, ensuring timely closeout of any actions
• Promote safe card submission within the team, monitoring all cards submitted and following up actions with relevant managers
• Ensure excellent communication with project management, client wider region, and client HSE representatives

Requirements:
• NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior HSE role
• Construction industry experience
• Experience in Nuclear, Oil & Gas, or other heavily regulated industries
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance
