Job Description:
REESON Education is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Tutor to join our team at an outstanding SEN school in Streatham. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in a primary school setting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and implement customized educational programs that meet the unique needs of each student.
- Work collaboratively with therapists, educational psychologists, and other specialists to provide holistic support.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Evaluate student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers to ensure consistent support.
- Lead and work with a support team to create a cohesive learning experience.
Requirements:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Has in-depth knowledge of ASD/SLD.
- Preferably has experience working in a special needs education setting.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum
