Role Overview:

As a SEND Specialist Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with SEND, delivering personalized tuition packages that cater to their unique needs. With a focus on re-engaging pupils in their learning, you will work collaboratively with families to develop and implement effective strategies for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver customized lesson plans to meet individual pupil needs
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor pupil progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
  • Communicate effectively with Prospero Teaching to ensure seamless coordination

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • UK teaching experience, preferably in a SEND setting
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learner needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with challenging behaviors and disengaged pupils

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated hourly rate for this role is £25 (negotiable), with flexible part-time hours accommodating family schedules. You will also enjoy ongoing support from Prospero Teaching, equipping you with the tools and expertise necessary to excel in this position.
