We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Europe. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in processing and analyzing safety and flight data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support the FDM Program Manager in the daily administration of the FDM efforts, ensuring the analysis of flight data for improved flight safety.
  2. Perform safety data and root cause analysis of digital flight data to determine adverse events and trends in flight and maintenance operations.
  3. Prepare safety and FDM trending analysis charts and reports, and compile and present FDM data summaries to enhance training, maintenance, and flight operations.
  4. Oversee the data collection process of aircraft fleet in conjunction with the Maintenance department.
  5. Additional tasks as directed by the EU Safety Director and FDM Program Manager.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, Safety Management, or related degree or equivalent experience.
  2. 1-2 years' prior experience in Flight Data Analysis in aviation or equivalent transportation industry experience.
  3. Familiarity with system safety, data analysis, and exploitation, trending, and risk management.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Advanced proficiency with data processing and business intelligence tools, including MS Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Data warehousing.
  2. Excellent analytical skills and an appetite for seeking out correlations and causations between different data sets.
  3. Strong written communication skills with the ability to write effective reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  4. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak effectively on known topics and present to audiences, including senior management.
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
