As an HSE Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, as well as maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support factory management teams in implementing and maintaining effective HSE practices and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills in HSE.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with regional HSE leads to drive the safety agenda and promote a positive safety culture.
- Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices and company requirements.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- University degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of UK HSE legislation and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
