We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Manager to join our team at Kerry. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and the surrounding community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective safety cultures, policies, and procedures. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing health, safety, and environmental initiatives, including risk assessments, safe systems of work, and accident investigations.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving our site's health, safety, and environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards. Additionally, you will work closely with our site management team to drive continuous improvement and target delivery across all key OHS and sustainability metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement health, safety, and environmental initiatives, including risk assessments, safe systems of work, and accident investigations.
  • Maintain and improve our site's health, safety, and environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Work closely with our site management team to drive continuous improvement and target delivery across all key OHS and sustainability metrics.
  • Represent the site/Company at local, regional, or national H&S forums, exhibitions & conferences to obtain and improve safety awareness in the workplace.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • University Degree would be an advantage
  • Minimum NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Good knowledge with UK H&S & Environmental Legislation
  • Well-developed communication skills – able to present written and verbal reports that are understood by the target audience.
