About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Hays Technology. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Microsoft SQL Server environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and day-to-day support of Oracle EBS and Microsoft SQL Server environments
  • Assist with master data updates within Oracle EBS
  • Manage all aspects of backup and recovery for the database environments
  • Lead all technical aspects of the design and implementation of new database solutions
  • Change management in line with company and IT policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Coding in SQL and Oracle EBS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extensive experience in Oracle DB (19c preferable)
  • Oracle SQL including troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Patching and cloning of full E-Business Suite stack (DB + Apps + Middleware), upgrades, AD / TXK / ATG, EBS Apps 12.2 upgrades
  • Oracle Linux 7+ / Linux KVM /, scripting, process automation, Linux security
