We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools across Leyland and surrounding areas.

Job Description

In this role, you will assist and support in Key Stage 3 and 4 classes, either as an assistant or delivering pre-set work in the absence of the usual Class Teacher.

No teaching qualification is required, but you must have a degree-level qualification and demonstrate that you have previously worked with children in a previous role.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Be degree qualified.
  • Demonstrate high levels of English and Maths.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet.
  • Be confident and have a positive approach that engages students.
  • Have excellent classroom management skills.

The salary for this role is approximately £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, training, and/or qualifications.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience working with children in a supportive and dynamic environment.
