Job Title: Principal Teacher of Pupil Support
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Principal Teacher of Pupil Support to join our team at Balfron High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of support for young people referred through Staged Intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, manage, and implement all aspects of Pupil Support for a case load of young people referred through Staged Intervention.
- Lead, manage, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of support for young people on Stage 2 Intervention.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the needs of young people are met.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, parents, and carers.
Requirements:
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop, lead, manage, and implement all aspects of Pupil Support.
- Commitment to GIRFEC principles and ability to promote young people's rights.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
