Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Class 3/4 Registered Building Inspector / Technical Manager who can demonstrate strong team management skills, a commercial focus, and ideally experience working in a local authority setting. You will also have the skills necessary to support our sports ground SAG function and be able to undertake out-of-hours work on a rota basis with the wider team in respect of dangerous buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Registered Building Inspectors and support staff
  • Work on a wide range of commercial projects across the borough and beyond

Requirements

You will need to have:

  • Experience as a Class 3/4 Registered Building Inspector / Technical Manager
  • Strong team management skills
  • A commercial focus
  • Ideally experience working in a local authority setting
What We Offer

We offer a highly competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, generous leave entitlement, payment of professional fees, and BSR registration costs. You will also work from our award-winning offices in the heart of the town centre within the Rochdale Riverside development.
