About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled engineer with great experience, excellent software skills, and a desire to work in a highly collaborative multi-disciplinary team focused on sustainability and technical excellence.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from infrastructure development to project coordination, and contribute to the delivery of outstanding sustainable projects that improve the quality of people's lives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs and project coordination.
  2. Contribute to or lead on work winning, budgetary control of project finances and prepare fee proposals.
  3. Mentor and support emerging team members, ensuring high-quality technical and non-technical deliverables.
  4. Work in a design office environment, participating in design and site meetings, site inspections, and progress reporting.

Requirements:

  • Civil engineering degree (BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, HND or HNC) with substantial experience in a design office setting.
  • Advanced analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, PDS, Civils3D, and MicroDrainage.
  • Familiarity with technical software like Civil 3D, AutoTrack, and industry-standard software.
  • Understanding of UK planning procedures and ability to provide technical support for planning approval.
  • Capacity to obtain technical approvals from highway and drainage authorities.
