Paraplanner Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team at Reward Recruitment. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial planners in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans, suitability reports, and letters to support our financial planners.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow models and forecasts to inform our clients' financial decisions.
  • Collaborate with our financial planners to prepare and collate documentation, including investments, pensions, and protection recommendations.
  • Assist with client meetings, taking notes and following up on actions as required.
  • Manage your own workflows and tasks to ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancing and streamlining paraplanning processes to increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • You will hold the Diploma Level Four qualification (or be close to achieving) and have a strong desire to achieve Chartered and/or Certified financial planner status.
  • Excellent understanding of the financial planning process and associated compliance aspects.
  • Driven and focused individual with the ability to complete tasks under pressure, on time, and to a high standard.
  • Experience in report writing and conducting investment and product market research.
  • Technical proficiency across all areas of financial planning, with a strong focus on pensions.
  • Ability to use technical financial planning tools, financial modelling, and back-office software.
