About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the Data Centre sector. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions to complex engineering and design challenges.



Key Responsibilities



  • Providing technical leadership and guidance on mechanical engineering projects
  • Designing and developing advanced mechanical systems for data centres
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism in all aspects of work


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Proficient use of industry-standard software tools, including Revit and BIM
  • Excellent proficiency levels in advanced mechanical engineering principles
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment with excellent communication skills
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Architectural, or Building Services Engineering
  • Some experience working on mission-critical projects, with data centre experience desirable
