About the Role
Achieving for Children is seeking a Family Group Conference Coordinator to arrange and organize meetings, empowering family members to make decisions about their children's care. The ideal candidate will have experience in family group conferencing, strong analytical and planning skills, and the ability to facilitate constructive discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and organize family group meetings
- Empower family members to make decisions about their children's care
- Assist referrers and professionals in preparing meeting agendas and questions
- Facilitate constructive discussions and mediate differences of opinion
- Work with children and young people to ensure their participation in the decision-making process
Requirements
- FGC accreditation is essential
- Previous experience in family group conferencing
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Ability to facilitate constructive discussions and mediate differences of opinion
- Experience working with children and young people
