About the Role


  • You will be responsible for designing and developing key game systems, showcasing your expertise and creativity.
  • As a mentor, you will provide guidance and support to junior programmers, helping them grow and develop their skills.
  • Rapidly adapt to new technologies and development practices, staying ahead of the curve in the industry.
  • Develop and implement standard methodologies, effectively communicating with team members and disciplines.
  • Bring technical expertise and experience to the challenges of game development, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Effectively profile and optimize game systems, ensuring seamless gameplay and performance.


Requirements

About You


  • A degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years commercial games programming experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • A deep understanding of engine architecture and experience of the full development lifecycle.
  • Proven AI knowledge would be ideal, but not essential.
  • Design and content team collaboration experience, with excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced C++ programming skills, with a strong focus on coding quality and efficiency.
  • Strong time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A logical thinker with strong analytical skills, able to problem-solve and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent math skills, with a solid understanding of mathematical concepts and principles.
  • A real passion for games programming, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments.
  • Experience working within a team, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn from others.
