Role Overview

Responsibilities

  1. Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely resolution of debit notes and cash collection.
  2. Process debit notes, conduct thorough analysis, and resolve disputes in a professional manner.
  3. Collaborate with the Credit Analyst to ensure effective management of customer accounts and cash flow.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  5. Perform cash collection by telephone and email, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
  6. Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  7. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to improve cash flow and reduce debt.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a blue-chip company.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple work streams to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with experience in using Oracle-based systems an advantage.
  • Highly numerate, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
