We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our quality control team, reporting to the Laboratory Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent and high-quality production of our products. The role is principally Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours a week, with normal working shifts from 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm, which may change with business needs.

  • Complete general laboratory preparation and analysis
  • Conduct analytical and microbiological sampling
  • Apply techniques to ensure product consistency and high quality
  • Utilise media and laboratory equipment effectively
  • Record and report results accurately
  • Participate in data interpretation
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Requirements and Key Attributes:

  • Recent university graduate or individual with laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Previous knowledge and understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required
