About the Role

Mayford James is seeking a highly skilled RFP Content Specialist to join our London-based RFP Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality requests for proposals (RFPs) and due diligence questionnaires that showcase our firm's specialist investment capabilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling RFPs and due diligence questionnaires that accurately reflect our investment capabilities and contribute to our asset gathering success.
  • Content Creation: Write, review, edit, and coordinate new business-related content, including providing ad-hoc data to address ongoing enquiries from prospective and existing clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to take ownership of RFP content, seeking to maximize efficiencies and explore new solutions for managing and delivering RFP best practice.
  • Workflow Management: Help manage the team's workflow and ensure the pipeline of ongoing RFPs/DDQs is accurately updated and maintained.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all RFPs and due diligence questionnaires receive appropriate signoffs prior to issuance.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop close business relationships and credibility with internal stakeholders and local experts across global offices and affiliated businesses.
  • Compliance: Adhere to procedures, including compliance and other regulatory processes.
Requirements
  • Asset Management Experience: Prior experience in asset management, ideally in an RFP role or a support function such as client reporting or operations.
  • Investment Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of investment asset classes, products, and interest in capital markets.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure all materials are accurate, compliant, and relevant procedures are followed.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and administrative skills.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Team Orientation: Strong team orientation but also the ability to work highly independently.
  • Organizational Skills: Works in a highly organized and agile way, with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Language Skills: Additional European languages, particularly French, would be a distinct advantage.
