We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Head of Site Development and Facilities Operations. This is a key role within our Operational Team, responsible for providing technical and engineering operational facilities expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Manage site facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and good asset husbandry.
- Oversee site security, safety, and incident response, including developing and maintaining business resilience strategies.
- Develop and implement facilities management strategies, including asset management and lifecycle planning.
- Lead on site development and improvement projects, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of production, laboratory, and research spaces.
- Manage facilities budget and financial reporting, as well as develop and administer engineering and soft facilities management contracts.
- Collaborate with international teams for consistent facilities management and work with EHS and Risk departments on compliance and sustainability.
- Recognised professional qualifications and cross-specialism knowledge to act in a duty holder capacity.
- Demonstrable technical and design experience pertinent to the role, with a range of management skills and ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
- At least 5 years' experience of managing an operational arrangement on a similar and diverse property portfolio, with experience of lifecycle of assets within the estate.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with ability to mentor more junior members of staff.
- 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays and 3 festive days to be used between Christmas and the New Year).
