Commissioning Engineer Job Description

CV Library is seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough electrical system checks and fault diagnosis on-site.
  • Configure and calibrate electronic data acquisition, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Optimize PID control loops for standard automotive applications.
  • Collaborate with development engineers to test bespoke control software.
  • Develop and implement commissioning procedures and schedules.
  • Work on-site in the UK and overseas, with occasional travel required.
Requirements:
  • Strong electrical understanding and ability to read electrical drawings.
  • Desirable: degree in engineering or electrical qualification.
  • Understanding of software development is a plus.
  • Able to work away from home when required.
  • Hold a valid UK driving license.

This is a day-shift role, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility in working hours. Benefits include pension, competitive holidays, free onsite parking, and training opportunities.
