Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Cat C driver to join our Winter Maintenance team in the Midlands. As a Winter Maintenance Driver, you will be responsible for operating a gritting vehicle to ensure the safety of our network during the winter season.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive a Winter Maintenance Gritting Vehicle on allocated routes
  • Be on standby throughout the winter maintenance season
  • Undertake the gritting of roads and associated activities
  • Work in a team to keep the Area 9 Network safe during the Winter season
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (category C) entitlement
  • Full CPC
  • Ability to get to Strensham or Coleshill Depot within 1 hour's notice
