We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Officer to join our Certification Compliance team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our UKAS accreditation and Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Compliance Manager to update SCUK system documentation and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
  • Act as Document Controller, maintaining the document register, issuing document revisions, and coordinating acknowledgements from overseas offices.
  • Support the Compliance Manager in resolving internal and external non-conformities, customer complaints, and appeals.
  • Contribute to the internal audit programme, assigning findings to responsible individuals and local offices.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 17021 requirements for audit and certification of management systems.
  • Self-motivated with project management capabilities and experience working to deadlines.
  • At least three years of experience in the third-party certification industry, preferably with a certification body.
  • Successful completion of a lead auditor course.
