Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Peabody. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and independence of our customers with complex needs, including those with mental health and substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support a team of Support Workers and Peer Workers to deliver high-quality services to individuals with complex needs.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure the right support is in place for customers, handling safeguarding and managing risks effectively.
- Provide guidance and advice to team members to ensure they have the tools and support they need to deliver excellent services.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including planning rotas, covering shifts, and ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Experience working in specialist or supported housing for people with a dual diagnosis of mental health, substance use, and complex needs.
- Knowledge and experience of safeguarding vulnerable people from abuse.
- Empathetic, resilient, and able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
