Are you a seasoned Consultant looking for a new challenge in specialty training programmes?

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Training Programme Director for Obstetrics and Gynaecology – West.

This is a unique opportunity to manage specialty training programmes for doctors holding specialty registrar (StR); and locum appointments for training (LATs) positions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing these programmes, ensuring that they are delivered to the highest standards, and providing guidance and support to trainees as needed.

This role offers a chance to make a real impact on the development of future healthcare professionals and contribute to the improvement of patient care across Scotland.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the specialty training programmes.

We are looking for someone who can effectively manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records. If you have a passion for education and training, this could be the perfect fit for you

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Flexible location within the UK, with the option to work remotely or from our office.

Duration: Fixed Term for 36 months.
