Job Summary

NHS Education for Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Training Programme Director – Neurology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing specialty training programmes for doctors holding Specialty Registrar and Locum Appointments for Training appointments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage specialty training programmes for doctors holding Specialty Registrar and Locum Appointments for Training appointments.
  • Be a consultant and be accountable to the Postgraduate Dean or appropriate Associate Postgraduate Dean.
  • Combine the role with that of an educational and/or clinical supervisor, if desired.

Requirements

  • Be a consultant with experience in managing specialty training programmes.
  • Have eligibility and entitlement to work in the UK, which must be maintained throughout the period of employment.
