Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Salary: £47,396.00 per year, plus bonus scheme and comprehensive benefits.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. You will be responsible for carrying out both preventative and corrective maintenance on site, safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake all prioritised and planned maintenance work, ensuring production downtime is minimised whilst also upholding and exceeding standards of safety.
  • To undertake preventive and corrective tasks, including PM and breakdowns.
  • To undertake engineering project work and assist with new installations or refurbishments when required.
  • To provide engineering support to the production teams.
  • To ensure the CMMS is accurate, and the data inputted to a high standard.
  • To actively engage with CI (workshops, kaizen, 5s, etc).

What We're Looking For:

  • A completed apprenticeship with demonstratable working experience in a related field.
  • A strong technical knowledge and hands on experience of maintenance process/activities.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experienced in the application of Health, Safety & Environmental procedures.
  • Demonstrable achievements in Continuous Improvement, Change Management disciplines, tools and techniques and evident motivation to impart these to others.
  • Proactive mind-set and good time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team whilst working within deadlines.
  • Be assertive and have self-confidence in presenting and supporting conclusions.
