About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As an SCSA Technical Specialist, you will play a critical role in defining team development tasks and collaborating with Product Owners to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Architecture: Ensure the overall architecture of the supplier security assurance transformation meets business requirements and integrates seamlessly with existing systems.
  • Optimize Delivery: Optimize delivery through automation where possible, ensuring efficient and effective implementation.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts: Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather and analyze business and technical requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Implement Technical Specifications: Ensure the implementation of technical specifications as defined in the technical requirements, following a structured approach with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop QA/Test Plans: Develop and execute QA/test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our chosen SaaS solution.
  • Mitigate Issues: Ensure any identified issues are mitigated and resolved before going live, maintaining appropriate documentation of any systems/processes included as part of transformational and development work.
  • Conduct Analysis: Conduct analysis on issues identified and implement corrective and preventative actions to resolve them.
Requirements
  • Appreciation of Supply Chain Security: Appreciate and understand supply chain/supplier/third-party security assurance using manual and automated processes, coupled with relevant experience in a supply chain security assurance-related role.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience as a technical specialist or a similar role within a software development & implementation team, with knowledge of Information Security Principles and best practices.
  • Cloud-Based GRC Tooling: Significant experience of implementing cloud-based GRC tooling (ideally with a focus on Supply Chain/Supplier/Third-Party Security Assurance).
  • Software Development Life Cycles: Good understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies from an IT and Security perspective, with ability to create/decipher and maintain detailed technical documentation and technical specifications relating to software implementation.
  • Automation Skills: Good automation skills, including experience with unit testing and automated testing tools, as well as experience in tools like Jira, Automation Scripting experience (E.G. Python, Javascript etc...), Confluence, Lucid/Visio, Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, SaaS Implementation.
