About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our SEN schools in the UK. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for driving the operational success of our schools, ensuring high-quality education and care for all students, and managing resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing Operational Strategies: Develop and implement operational strategies to drive the success of our SEN schools.
  2. Delivering Educational Outcomes: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, individualized education and care for all students in alignment with regulatory standards and best practices.
  3. Managing Resources: Manage operational and financial performance, including budget oversight, staffing, and resource allocation.
  4. Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with SEN regulations, safeguarding policies, and health & safety protocols.
  5. Recruiting and Developing Staff: Lead on the recruitment, retention, and professional development of school leaders and teaching staff.
  6. Fostering Partnerships: Build relationships with local authorities, parents, and other stakeholders to enhance the reputation of the schools and secure positive outcomes for students.
  7. Reporting Performance: Report to the senior leadership team on regional performance, providing insights, data, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in the education sector, within SEN or specialist schools.
  • SEN Expertise: Strong knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to drive school improvement and manage complex operations.

Salary

The salary for this role is £90,000, plus a car allowance and bonus schemes.
