The ideal candidate will possess strong governance and leadership skills, with a passion for education and improving outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the governing body to ensure effective decision-making and strategic planning
  • Working closely with the Head Teacher and Senior Management Team to develop and implement school improvement plans
  • Maintaining accountability and monitoring progress towards set goals
  • Providing support and challenge to the senior leadership team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Shaping plans for school improvement and overseeing their implementation
  • Setting the school's aims and values, aligning them with the local authority's vision
What We Offer

In return for your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive salary package (£40,000 - £60,000 per annum), reflecting the importance of this role.
