Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a talented Process Engineer to join a leading environmental manufacturer. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving a culture of safety excellence and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the residual waste treatment plant. Your analytical mind and ability to identify and drive continuous improvement strategies will be invaluable in this role. Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating with operational colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the plant
Setting control limits for key performance parameters and ensuring they are met
Ensuring the quality of plant outputs
Providing solutions to technical variances
Daily analysis of plant data to determine optimal operational setup
Developing and managing a process management system for the plant
Developing training and induction material for new and existing colleagues
Training, coaching, and developing site staff in all aspects of plant performance
Regular reporting of plant performance
Identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities
Assessment of all process changes made to the plant
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, guide, and mentor the onsite team
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly express technical and engineering matters
A proactive approach to problem-solving
A well-organized and logical thinker
Numeracy and an appreciation for accurate operational data collection and analysis
Honesty, reliability, and integrity
A degree in chemical or process engineering and working towards chartered status
3-5 years of experience in a front-line operational role as a process or chemical engineer
Knowledge of Lean methodologies and experience with their application within a process/operational plant environment
