Chief Financial Strategist

At Simpson Judge Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in driving the company's financial success.

This is a senior leadership position that requires a strong understanding of financial management and strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts, corporation tax filings, and confirmation statements.

You will also be responsible for conducting quarterly VAT returns, daily cash flow monitoring, managing debt facilities, cash flow forecasting, and performing daily bank reconciliations. Additionally, you will analyse costs and make recommendations for efficiency improvements, provide monthly variance commentary to support accurate forecasting and budgeting, and supervise and develop a team of three finance professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or Equivalent) qualification and experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for recruitment, training, and motivating finance staff, as well as managing monthly payroll processes and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory regulations.
